You must inform the insurers of all serious or chronic illnesses that required medical attention during the last 2 years and any changes to health or medication between booking your trip and travelling. These relate to you and all persons on whom the travel plans depend. Failure to do so may result in claims being excluded. (‘All persons’ means the children who are actually travelling and also any relatives etc, on whose well being the trip depends).
Conditions, Exclusions & WarrantiesThese may apply to individual sections of the policy or whole policy.
Property ClaimsThese claims are paid based on the value of the goods at the time you lose them and not on a ‘new for old’ or replacement cost basis.
Policy Limits & ExcessesMost sections of the policy have limits on the amount the insurer will pay under that section including excesses which is the first amount you have to pay of any claim. Some sections also include other specific limits, for example for any one item or for valuables in total. You are advised to check the policy carefully if you intend taking expensive items with you
. ActivitiesAll activities organised and implemented by Camp Beaumont are covered under the policy offered.
Policy DocumentsIt is important that you read and understand the policy information upon receipt. You should have been provided with a copy of all relevant policy documentation to enable you to make an individual informed buying decision based on your own personal circumstances, travel plans and the merits of the policy. This buying decision is your own and you will not have received a personal recommendation or advice from us.
