3,2,1… going live! Due to the huge success of CBTV, Camp Beaumont’s very own TV channel is back for another summer of roving reporters and the crucial news that keeps camp ticking!

The only problem is, the TV channel needs some programmes to screen! On our TV broadcasting and film making camp you’ll learn how to record and make your very own television programmes and documentaries, broadcasting exclusively at the end of camp Revue.

The only limit is your imagination, so get creative! Whether you want to be the next camp star reporter, news-writer, director or producer, it’s all possible on our TV broadcasting camp! You can make our film making holiday your own, whether you choose to create a documentary or write your own camp “Friends”-style sit com. There’s always news reports needed on all of the daily goings on at camp, the latest gossip or all the sports headlines of the day. And CBTV just wouldn’t be right without those annoying ad breaks!

Reporters on our film-making holiday will learn how to research and write stories, read on camera, do “outside broadcast” reports on location and how to edit all the scenes together with hi-tech computerised video-editing equipment. So will your creation win the coveted CB Academy Award?

Our TV broadcasting camp is your focus for the mornings during the week and in the afternoon you can take a break from the cameras, rejoin the rest of the camp and try out loads of fantastic multi-activities, everything from Abseiling to Archery, Climbing to Karting.
